Our Family Story
We're passionate about soap, but sensitive skin has always been challenging for some of us. Fragrances and chemicals often cause discomfort or even embarrassment due to itching. During my travels and teaching stint in Lebanon, a close friend introduced me to a unique, green soap made from locally grown olives. This organic, handmade soap was a revelation.
His father, at 85, lovingly cultivated olives on their family land in northern Lebanon. I witnessed him nurture the trees like children—tilling, pruning, and caring for them to yield the best fruits.
In their village, a small soap maker crafted these olives into beautiful soaps. I was captivated and brought home a variety of these soaps, which quickly became a favorite with my wife and daughters.
This experience inspired the creation of Pure Sabao. Our mission is simple: to make pure and simple soap here in Arizona and to source the purest handmade soaps from around the world.
